Really enjoyed the food here! We tried the ghee idli, bonda, and puri everything was flavorful and tasted great. The ghee idli and puri were especially good. The only small thing was the bonda was not as soft as expected, but the taste was still delicious. Overall, a great place for Indian food and definitely recommend trying it!

How did I end up here? Luck of the draw. I'm in town for work and it was a 5 min walk from the Holliday Inn hotel I'm staying at. Very inconspicuous little place but that doesn't stop it from being found. Not much in the way of dining in but people still were enjoying the food in their cars. Pick up drivers were picking up orders. It was busy so it looks promising. I got the masala dosa and vegetable garelu and it was about $20. It was all very good! Flavor explosion! Dosa was crispy, chewy, and slightly sour. The masala was so flavorful with a touch of spice. The tomato chutney is the flavor bomb. Altogether it a flavor roller coaster. Sweet, spicy, savory ... so good. And it was massive. Garelu were good too. Lots of vegetable flavor and great for dipping in the soup. Overall it was a great snack for dinner and I'm glad I stopped by.

Iam absolutely thrilled to say that Indian Food Stories is a standout gem, likely one of the best Indian food spots in North San Antonio. Their authentic South Indian breakfast items, or 'tiffins', are a true delight—spicy, delicious, and tangy, just as they should be. The Pesarattu and Punugulu are must-tries; the flavors take you right back to India. The setup is great, offering the flexibility of a food truck experience with the added bonus of an indoor seating area. This is perfect for those who want to eat without the nearby main road's sounds. There's also decent free parking available. The entire menu is purely vegetarian and vegan, which is fantastic. This spot should be at the top of the list for anyone craving authentic Andhra tiffins and excellent Allam Chai.

This is by far the best south indian breakfast place in San Antonio. Idli and bonda were super fluffy, light and tasty. Peanut and tomato chutney, sambar was amazing too. Definitely come here if you are craving authentic indian breakfast dishes. #adhiripoindi

This is a food cart so no place to sit except your car! Their food is good but it’s super spicy! I can eat spicy food and I ate theirs as well but I understood the next day what I ate! :D But if you like spicy food then you can give them a visit. We had mysore masala dosa that had potato masala inside. It came with 3 chutney/sambhars. They were okay. We took mirchi bhaji which was good and mysore bonda as well. Mysore bonda is really dull but it was super soft and tasted nice with the red chutney they provided. We also got their pakora, it was really crispy and nice too. But extremely spicy! 🥵 🌶️ We also got their tea. It was good.
